The layout features two track mainline on the north side and one track on the south side.
The C.P.I.Co was a short line which carried iron ore to the furnaces at Crown Point from Hammondville during the Revolutionary War. After the iron ore was processed it was shipped downstate to the Watervliet Arsenal . The RR also features two yards with a working turntable in each yard.
