Andrew Blatchley's MGRR consist of New York Central, New Haven, and Southern Pacific railroads set in the 1950-60's era. The main room which is 12' x 28' represents the New York Central with double main line track with 3 branch lines, Canal Jct, Willow Creek Jct, and Hudson Sub. Freights leave Palmer Yard to the branches. One main freight, the New London, CT, job leaves the main room through a portal into New London to the yard and docks. This area is about 32'x 2' in length. One coal train each way is also run, a freight is also run to Palmer Yard. A line also runs from Palmer Yard to the Southern Pacific Division which is under construction. The layout is run on D.C. power. All the trains are dispatched by the train dispatcher located on the outside of the main room. This railroad is freelanced.

Comments:
A typical operating session is about 3 hours for all jobs. Some turnouts are manual, and others by toggle switches on the fascia. Car Cards are used for all trains.
